Julip Run Capital's management team possesses extensive experience in private equity investing. The firm's Principals, in partnership with our senior advisors, bring a full complement of experience and expertise in the areas of operational management, financial management, strategic and corporate development, capital structuring, and analytics. 

We have relationships with more than 250 private equity firms, junior capital providers, and lending institutions, that we call upon to provide resources to our businesses.  We know the nature of the information they require to consider a deal, and we know how to present it.  We also invest on behalf of a close network of high net worth individuals who prefer the opportunity to review each deal and invest in specific businesses rather than invest in large blind pools or funds.  

Christopher J. Debbas | Senior Partner | cdebbas@juliprun.com

Chris is co-founder and the Senior Partner of Julip Run Capital. Mr. Debbas has over twenty-five years of business experience in a variety of industries including aviation, information technology, health care, accounts receivable management, customer relationship management, distribution, records management, and market research. Mr. Debbas currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Managers of ACCT Holdings, a U.S. based outsource provider of customer relationship management services to money center banks and telecom businesses through the U.S. Chris is the current Chairman of JDog Franchises, LLC, the nation's leading junk removal franchiser. He is also a co-founder and Chairman of inDitto, an early stage software development company that has developed patented listening technology for intelligence gathering on the web. He also serves as President and CEO of SPA Car Wash Systems, LLC. Mr. Debbas was formerly Managing Partner of CD Ventures, a predecessor to Julip Run Capital. Mr. Debbas was co-founder of twelve businesses including among others, Gateway HomeCare, Inc., Keystone Ranger Holdings (dba Keystone Helicopter), Executive Air Support (dba Atlantic Aviation), AllianceOne Incorporated, Nova Records Management, LLC, and ACCT Holding, LLC (dba Advanced Call Center Technologies). From 1990 until 1995, Mr. Debbas was also President of Healthworks Alliance, Inc., a Philadelphia based software development company that sold health information software applications to various segments of the health care industry. Mr. Debbas also served as Director of Corporate Development for AdvaCare, Inc. from 1988 until 1990 and held various positions at Shared Medical Systems and Health Management Systems. Mr. Debbas earned a B.S. in Chemistry from St. Joseph's University.

James R. Griffiths | Managing  Partner | jgriffiths@juliprun.com

Jimmy is a co-founder and the Managing Partner of Julip Run Capital. He has over 20 years of experience in areas of finance and accounting, financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions and operations. Prior to Julip Run Capital, he was a Partner of Julip Run’s predecessor company, CD Ventures, a private equity firm that specialized in building large scale businesses in fragmented service industries. During his 13 years in private equity at CD Ventures, he co-founded seven platform companies and co-led the successful acquisition of over 55 businesses while leading diligence on over 60 other companies. He participated in raising over $900 million of capital while at CD Ventures. Mr. Griffiths currently serves as CFO of ACCT Holdings, LLC, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) business, headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania with operations across the U.S. with over 4,200 employees. Jimmy is the current CFO at JDog Franchises, LLC. He is also co-owner and CFO of SPA Car Wash Systems, LLC. He previously served as CFO and interim CEO of MessageLink, LLC. Prior to joining CD Ventures, Inc. Mr. Griffiths served as Director of Acquisitions and Integration for HomeCare and Hospital Management, Inc. a $200 million Louisville, Kentucky based homecare company. He was a Senior Accountant in the audit department at Price Waterhouse, LLP in Memphis, Tennessee specializing in emerging growth companies. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Rhodes College in Memphis and has passed all parts of the uniform CPA examination in the State of Tennessee.

David W. Tribbett | Partner | davetribbett@verizon.net

Dave Tribbett is a Partner of Julip Run Capital and serves as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer.  In this role, Dave is responsible for evaluating and assessing technology platforms of portfolio companies, as well as providing guidance and leadership in all technology strategy and initiatives.  In 2008, Dave co-founded inDitto, LLC in partnership with Julip Run, a business focused on web infrastructure technology and web service deployment.  Since its founding in 2008, inDitto successfully secured a patent  for its proprietary technology and made numerous trademark claims.  inDitto is currently offering the inTympany Cloud Spongetm , a specialized listening engine that gathers relevant intelligence from the web for a specific search phrase.  Prior to joining Julip Run, Dave served as Chief Product Officer of Passport Heath Communications, Inc. of Nashville, TN, a company that offers insurance eligibility products and solutions. There he was responsible for the design of dozens of major corporate and enterprise based software solutions and services.  He is recognized as one of the leading technologists in health care informatics.  Dave was President and CTO of Healthworks Alliance, Inc. and was the founder and CEO of User Friendly Data Systems.  He holds numerous patents and received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Widener University.

Larry Liss | Senior Executive Consultant 

Larry is a Senior Executive Consultant to Julip Run and serves on the JDog Joint Chiefs Board of Advisers. He brings extensive experience to the firm including a range of operational and consultative skills, which he leverages for coaching portfolio management teams and other senior executives.  His professional career spans nearly 50 years and was preceded by distinguished service in the U.S. Military.  He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in June of 1963 and received his wings as a Helicopter Pilot in September of 1966.  Larry served as a combat helicopter pilot from 1966 until 1968.  He flew a total of 650 combat missions.  He received numerous awards including 25 Air Medals, one for Valor, the Bronze Star, 3 Purple Hearts, the Valorous Unit Commendation for Extraordinary Heroism, the Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Distinguished Flying Cross for Valor.  He was also twice awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.  Most recently, he was recommended for the Medal of Honor for a mission flown on May 14th 1967.  He completed his military service in April of 1970 as a Captain.  His business career includes founding and operating large scale businesses including Flightways Corporation and LVI Environmental and serving as a senior consultant offering executive coaching to highly placed executives in Fortune 1000 companies.  Over the course of his coaching career, Larry has worked with over 16,000 individuals in numerous industries including retail, pharmaceuticals, financial, spirits, hospitality, communications, industrial and aircraft manufacturing, where he has employed “Breakthrough Thinking” techniques to foster and teach effective leadership techniques to drive extraordinary results.  Larry is a member of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society Board of Directors and is a graduate of Pennsylvania Military College (now Widener University)

Bruce Ryan | Senior Adviser 

Bruce is a Senior Adviser to Julip Run Capital. Bruce brings extensive operating experience as a CEO in a variety of industries including global distribution and manufacturing. He is recognized among the private equity community for his accomplishments in orchestrating successful turnarounds of troubled companies, assembling seasoned management teams, executing mergers and acquisitions of strategic assets, and driving profitability through operational optimization.  As a member of Julip Run’s team, Bruce is instrumental in identifying unique investment opportunities leveraging the wealth of personal and business relationships he enjoys. Bruce also serves on the advisory Boards of SJC Capital Partners and Bunker Hill Capital. He graduate of University of Missouri and received his MBA from Saint Louis University.
